Fears for Britney as she thanks ‘real fans’ for support after losing legal battle over control of her affairs

BRITNEY Spears sparked fears as she thanked her “real” fans for their support – a day after failing in her bid to take control of her finances.

The singer, 38, lost her battle to have her father removed as her sole conservator at an LA courthouse on Wednesday.

She said she’s in a “huge transitional stage” in her life

Hordes of attended the hearing, bearing banners asking for the singer to be “freed” from her conservatorship.

Despite the ruling, seemed undefeated as she recognised her followers’ efforts in a lengthy post on Instagram.

She wrote: “I feel like we will look back at this time in quarantine as a huge transitional stage in our lives ….. we don’t know when things will go back to normal but we are staying positive and learning so much about ourselves !!!!

“For me I want to thank all my dear … sweet … real fans for being so damn wonderful !!!”

The Toxic hitmaker concluded: “I can feel your hearts and I know you can feel mine 💞🌹💖 … thank you for your support ⭐️⭐️⭐️ !!!”

Britney also shared a puzzling video in which she listed all her favourite things.

“So I’m here today to answer all your questions in your comments,” she began.

“And the first question you guys ask me is what’s my favourite holiday… my favourite holiday is probably Halloween just because I like getting dressed up. I love the candy and I love scaring people.”

She went on to share that her favourite subject in school was history, her favourite designer is Tom Ford, her favourite restaurant is Mastro’s because she likes steak and baked potatoes, and her favourite book is A Good Woman by Danielle Steele.

Britney’s fans seemed confused with the clip, claiming that “no-one” was asking her the questions to which she gave answers.

One wrote: “THESE ARE NOT THE QUESTIONS WE ARE ASKING!!!!!!!! OUR QUESTIONS ARE DIFFERENT!”

Another added: “Britney… NO ONE is asking these questions.”

Other fans were concerned by Britney’s appearance and demeanour in the clip, claiming she is “not okay”.

“What the hell is with the rocking back and forth?! She is not okay,” one wrote.

“This doesn’t even sound like her. She’s talking differently. What’s going on!?” another concerned follower asked.

A third user commented: “The only question asked is ARE YOU OK?”

The mother-of-two suffered a setback on Wednesday when no action was taken in her legal case to have her father Jamie removed as her conservator, TMZ reported.

Britney had asked a judge to make her temporary care manager Jodi Montgomery – who took over last year when her father became ill – to continue permanently as her conservator.

The singer , court documents filed by her attorney revealed.

The documents also stated that “ to reflect her current lifestyle and her wishes” – confirming reports that the star no longer wishes to perform at this moment in time.

Her ex-husband Jason Alexander also attended the hearing, where he and that the star wants to rekindle their relationship.

No changes were made when Wednesday’s hearing was adjourned.

The Mickey Mouse Club alum has been unable to make major personal or financial decisions in her life without the approval of her father since a court-approved conservatorship was put in place in February 2008 after her meltdown and divorce from Federline.

“Whether someone’s coming in peace to help or coming in with an attitude, having someone constantly tell you to do something has got to be frustrating.”

Britney and her father’s relationship seemed to further sour when her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, was granted a restraining order against him on behalf of their kids, Sean Preston, 14, and Jayden James, 13.

Kevin accused Jamie of getting physical with Sean during an argument in August 2019.
