“It was the best thing I ever did!” Loose Women’s Katie Price opens up about putting husband Kieran into therapy for his sex addiction live on the show
Kieran lied to his therapist for three straight days before admitting he had a problem
KATIE Price shocked audiences today when she declared her husband Kieran Hayler was "dead."
But the 37-year-old mother-of-five has not become a widow for the first time in her life.
Instead she says that her 28-year-old husband's sex mad lifestyle is a thing of the past after he was sent to therapy.
And that he's a new man after he was forced to admit that he'd cheated on her with her best friend.
Katie tied-the-knot with stripper Keiran Hayler in the Bahamas in January three years ago.
The whirlwind marriage came after he proposed on Christmas Day just weeks before and they went on to have a son a year later.
However Katie left fans stunned when she took to took to twitter just 18 months after their wedding to to accuse Kieran of an affair with her best friend Jane Pountney.
Discussing the issue of infidelity on Loose Women today she said that she is happy she fought for her marriage after she made Kieran's affair public.
She said: "Well in my situation, everyone said 'just leave Kieran' it would have been so easy to walk away, it would have been so easy, but I thought 'no, I am going to fight for this.'
"Now we always say the old Kieran is dead, it's like a different person, it's so weird and now there's a new Kieran that's been reborn.
"It was tough for me I was pregnant at the time, I didn't drink, I don't do drugs anyway, and I couldn't go on medication.

"It was through pure strength that I went through it, I always give myself a a pat on the shoulder and say that despite everyone saying that 'this is the worst betrayal anyone can do to you, how on earth could you stay with him, how could you trust him?,' it's the best thing I ever did."
Katie also revealed she's continually faced criticism from those who know her best.
But she maintains Kieran's eventual willingness to attend therapy helped their marriage.
She added: "I think a lot of people were like 'it's not going to last.'
"Even the therapist said he was one of the worst he's ever treated, to the point where he spent three days with him and he was like 'yeah, I can't help him, because he's just lying to himself.'
"It was up to Kieran to make that change and everyone now says 'I can't believe it has been more than two years now.'
"They can see a change in Kieran so I think it is easy to walk away but I think if you really want something you fight for it."
