Cat Deeley ‘HAS quit LA after 14 years and moved back to London to be closer to family’ as Ant & Dec reunion confirmed
CAT Deeley has quit LA and returned to London to be closer to family – 14 years after launching her career stateside, The Sun can exclusively confirm.
The 43-year-old presenter, who put her $5million Beverly Hills house on the market earlier this month, has already secretly settled back on home soil, after relocating with her Irish husband, presenter Patrick Kielty, and their two sons Milo, four, and two-year-old James.

A new property listing shows their four bed, five bath property, with the desirable 91210 zip code, is on the market for a whopping $4,995,000.
A source confirmed Cat had been planning a move back to London since earlier this year, after The Sun also revealed she will be reuniting with her old co-stars Ant &; Dec for an SM:TV Live reunion in the near future.
"Cat was discussing putting the house up for sale months ago, they didn't want to rent it out because they were considering buying a property in the UK," the source said. "This is more of a permanent move.
"She is a household name, and they both made it work in LA, but Patrick gets a lot more work back home, and she could always fly back and forth when the pandemic eases up.

"They were more than ready for this and wanted to be closer to family and friends and have their sons grow up in Britain, it's a new adventure."
The source added: "Cat is a brilliant presenter, and she's got warmth. She has hundreds of hours of live TV under her belt, she's not worried about finding work, and no doubt UK fans have missed her immensely on screen."
Cat, who is still signed with talent agency William Morris Endeavour in the US, has already shared photographs to Instagram showing her in London, including doing audio sessions in a studio for her new children's book, The Joy in You.
A second source close to Cat told The Sun: "She still has multiple projects in the works in the US and will be here and there for work, but she will be based in Britain for now."

The family, who had hinted at a move back to the UK, could be set to make more than a million in profit on the luxury home after purchasing it for just $2,699,000 back in 2006.
In an interview with the in July last year, Cat revealed her horror after her husband and eldest son were caught up in a shooter scare at Century City Hall.
She recalled speaking to Paddy, 49, on the phone, who told her: "Everyone was either told to lie behind the counter or pushed into the loos.
"People were screaming and crying. Then as they were all hiding, the FBI turned up with guns. ‘Paddy kept Milo calm – he didn’t really know what was going on – and in the end it just turned out to be a suspect package."

Describing the gun laws in America as "crazy," she admitted they were considering a move back home, but said it would be a "tough decision" after years living across the pond.
"Things change when you have children and when you think Trump may get in for a second term," she said.
"But then over here we’ve got Brexit. If we moved to Ireland, there’s the border situation. It’s all a bit of a mess right now."
Social media snaps suggest the family packed up in January and left for London, with a pic of Cat surrounded by boxes, captioned on Twitter: " delivered all the bags safe and sound ! Simples !..... Now if anyone finds that toddler DM me !"

In June, she told fans of her heartbreak after her show, So You Think You Can Dance?, had been canceled by FOX due to the Covid-19 outbreak, and has given no update as to whether she would return.
"I want to thank ALL the many talented dancers who auditioned for us this year and we will all miss SYTYCD this summer!" she wrote on social media regarding season 17.
Cat, who married presenter Paddy in 2012, also hinted earlier this year that she could be set to make a major comeback with TV duo, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, years after their hit show SM:TV Live ended.
