Towie’s Fran Parman returns to filming two years after split with Diags and leaving the show
TOWIE's Fran Parman returned to filming two years after she split with James ‘Diags’ Bennewith and left the show.
The former couple, who called time on their three-year romance in 2018, are to come face to face now she's back for the Towie reunion.
The pair first got together shortly after Fran joined the ITVbe show in 2014 as Diags' housemate.
She initially dated Tom Pearce but when that fell through became loved-up with the brunette hunk.
Following their split a friend revealed to the Sun's Bizarre column they had spent a night together and Fran was keen to win him back.
Now Fran has returned to the spotlight and joined in filming earlier today in Essex.
The pretty brunette looked glam for the occasion wearing a white minidress with a plunging bust, a red bomber jacket and white heels.
Fran teamed the look with a gold chain with a matching bracelet and hoop earrings.
Her involvement on Towie is her first telly gig in months, with Fran admitting she had been "bored" during lockdown.
She said on Instagram in April: "Can’t stop eating. Fed up. Bored. Put on weight. But trying to stay positive and staying in for our nhs for everyone to be safe 💖 Love you all 💖"
She last appeared on screen when she confronted Diags on Eating With My Ex.
James opened up about crying on Towie during an emotional heart to heart with Chloe Sims.
And while the scene left most viewers heartbroken at the time, Fran, 28, joked she was turned on by his tears.
Diags said on the show back in January: "I'm very in touch with my emotional side."
A TV source said: “She still loves Diags. Since they broke up last year they went on this crazy diet and lost three stone.
“She slept with Diags a couple of months ago but after she’d got up and left his house he blocked her."
Diags lost an impressive two and a half stone after their split, which he admitted had spurred him on to overhaul his lifestyle and "start afresh".
