Ex-EastEnders actress Cheryl Fergison sets sights on Coronation Street role after moving up north
EX-EastEnders actress Cheryl Fergison has set her sights on landing a role on Coronation Street after moving up north.
The 54-year-old actress starred as Heather Trott on Albert Square before being killed off by Ben Mitchell in 2012.
Now Cheryl says she wants to make soap comeback after moving north of London with husband Yassine Al-Jermoni.
While speaking on MIM Productions' , she said: “I would totally contemplate doing Corrie and given now that I live up North and talk like that now.
“I am like ‘Hiya love’.”
Earlier this year she challenged EastEnders bosses to finding a way to bring her back from the dead.
Writing on Instagram, she said: "Ok so I’ve had lots of people asking if I could go back to @bbceastenders as Hev's long lost twin...
"So writers there's a challenge and actually there is a storyline that could defo make that possible...
"Remember Hev's mum (she was a wicked one) and aunt babes terrible past story of selling babies !! If you would like to see this epic come back let @bbceastenders know..."

Ben got off lightly with the crime after turning himself in at a police station, with his murder charge being dropped and the youngster pleading guilty to manslaughter.
