Rylan Clark-Neal reveals he may be forced to pull out of Celebrity Gogglebox over mum Linda’s health
RYLAN Clark-Neal has revealed he may be forced to pull out of Celebrity Gogglebox due to his mother's health.
Rylan, 31, was hugely successful when he appeared on the Channel 4 reality show but may not be on the next series.
Speaking about his return to Gogglebox, Rylan said: "It'll be a year away now, we were really lucky to be part of the first one and the second one.
"It'll all just depend on what we're doing and if my mum's well enough. We're never gonna say never we don't know what position we're going to be in eventually," he added to The Mirror.
His mum Linda, 68, has battled with Crohn's since her 30s, a condition that causes inflammation of the lining of the digestive system.
She also contracted sepsis in 2018, which almost killed her.
Linda was also a big hit on Gogglebox, but Rylan admitted she has no idea about being in the limelight.
"She's not dealing with her fame, she doesn't really know. She's not on social media and I'm never gonna let her be," he said.
The former X Factor star is extremely close to his mother and spoke about their relationship in a previous Sunday Times Magazine article.
"My mum, Linda, is my biggest f headache, but I don't know what I'd do without her," he explained.

"She's got the best of both worlds with me - I'm a son and a daughter. I can talk to her about make-up and blow-dry her hair, and I can tell her to f*** off.
"She's a liability. She's the ultimate cross between the nan from Catherine Tate and Pam from Gavin & Stacey," Rylan added.
