Former Geordie Shore lass Sophie Kasaei believes her BFF Charlotte Crosby could get back with her ex-boyfriend Mitch Jenkins.

The pair split for the second time in August last year but Sophie thinks there could be a reunion now that Charlotte has sensationally quit Geordie Shore for good.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, Sophie said she thinks "someone like Mitch" could be a good influence on Charlotte right now.

She said: "Charlotte was with Mitch forever and it didn't work out because he didn't want to be involved with Geordie Shore and be on it, she needs someone like Mitch again.

"She needs someone more like her - Gary's not daft like Charlotte. They were only together because they lived together.'

When asked if she thinks Charlotte and Mitch will get back together Sophie replied: "Yeah, I can see them together. I love them together. They are hilarious together.

"She speaks to Mitch on friends terms, he probably has a girlfriend at the moment but one day they will be with each other."

Charlotte wrote in her autobiography, Me, Me, Me that her being on the show drove them apart.

She said: "Geordie Shore was probably the cause of my biggest fights with Mitch.

"He didn't want me to speak about him on the show, he didn't like me being in there and he didn't want to have anything to do with it at all.

"It made it so hard to be in a relationship when he was refusing to be a part of one of the biggest things in my life."

Meanwhile, Charlotte, 26, shocked fans of the show last week when she quit the reality show after revealing she suffered an ectopic pregnancy while Gaz Beadle was filming Ex On The Beach in Thailand.

A war of words followed between the pair with Gaz giving his version of events in a lengthy column in
The Daily Star and Charlotte taking to Twitter to slam his actions and ultimately quit the show.

Sophie, who was kicked off the MTV show following a race row back in 2013, said Geordie Shore has changed a lot since she was on it.

She said: "When I lived in the house all of this used to happen inside the house and now it's much more dramatic outside the house now everyone's got Snapchat and social media and camera phones and everything.

"I used to get in the middle of it and not take sides but Charlotte is my best friend and I'm on her side this time no matter what.

"It's time to end now and Charlotte needs to move on and forget about him and this time she will."

While Sophie believes Charlotte needs to move on from the show, it looked like she was having second thoughts as the rest of the cast head off to Magaluf to film the new series.

She wrote on Twitter: "When you realise you made what seems like the worst decision of your life....I've lost my family....my life. Cast and CREW.

"This is gunna be a VERY VERY hard couple of months."

However, Gaz reached out to her today saying "it's not late" for her to join them in Spain.

He wrote to her on twitter: "It's not to late (sic).... Get a bag packed and get your a*** here."

Gaz, Marnie Simpson, Aaron Chalmers, Chantelle Connelly, Nathan Henry, Chloe Ferry, Holly Hagan and Scotty T all arrived in Spain this afternoon.
