Asked how different he thinks the show will be, he explained: "Well I think it will change the show considerably, but it’s good that they’re doing it this year though because it is the 20th season of the show so they’ve gotta be a big splash, but splash being the operative word!"

Christopher - who won the show in 2007 - continued: "Of course our weather is not conducive to sitting outside or sleeping outside in the country.

";And of course, if it’s in Scotland or if it’s anywhere in this country, it will be quite cold I would think.

"I’m not so sure I would like to live outside, but perhaps they’ll have people living in the castle, in the dungeon or something."

"I just hope that it’s not going to be too disastrous weather wise," he added, before going on to speak about his time in the jungle 13 years ago.

"Having said that when we were in Australia, the weather was terrible at times.

"We had torrential rainstorms, but somehow rainstorms in a hot country was slightly different to a bitterly cold country like ours."

On Friday, The Sun exclusively revealed that I'm A Celeb would be remaining in the UK due to the coronavirus pandemic.

ITV producers took the decision after lockdown restrictions in Australia made planning the usual show impossible, with borders in the country shut down.

The 2020 series, which will air in November, will now be aired from a remote rural castle in Britain as opposed to the traditional jungle in Murwillumbah, New South Wales.

Ant and Dec, who are celebrating 20 years at the helm of the hit entertainment series, will return to host as normal.
