‘Are they twins?’ Gogglebox viewers sent into a frenzy over rare appearance of Michaels family sister Catheryne
Daughter is away at university and doesn't often appear on the reality show
GOGGLEBOX viewers were sent into a frenzy last night over the rare appearance of Catheryne Michaels.
The family are regulars on the popular Channel 4 show but Catheryne doesn't appear very often because she's away at university.
Fans couldn't get over the similarities between Catheryne and her sister Alex and many were delighted to see the 'other' Michaels sister on the show.
People took to Twitter to voice their shock and delight at Catheryne watching the telly with her family.
Joanne said: "The revelation that the girl from the Michaels family on #gogglebox has been 2 people this whole time has changed my perception of reality."
John wrote: "WHAT? Twins? All this time I thought it was the same person!! #gogglebox."
Another user joked: "Most important part of tonight's #gogglebox: the Michaels family have let their daughter's clone out of the cellar."
Someone else added: "First the Moffatts, now The Michaels - has every #Gogglebox family got a daughter hidden in the attic?"
Johnny wrote: "Mind blown. There are 2 sisters on the Michaels sofa. What. But. How. When? #gogglebox #sisters."
The family, who hail from Brighton, usually consists of dad Andrew, mum Carolyne, daughter Alex and their son Louis with Catheryne making on odd appearance.
Her rare appearance on the couch follows on from when Scarlett Moffatt, 25, was out-sassed by her younger sister Ava when she made her debut earlier this year.
Scarlett was out-witted by Ava when she questioned her nutritional knowledge, much to the nation's delight.
It all started when Scarlett said he didn't know the 'no added sugar' label on food and drinks packaging does not actually mean the item contains no sugar at all.
Ava responded quickly saying: "Scarlett, I'm a nine year old and even I know that and you're 25."
