HOME BIRD?

Cat Deeley sparks rumours she’s moving back to Britain as she puts £3.8m LA home up for sale

CAT Deeley has listed her Beverly Hills family home for £3.8m ($5m) - months after a gun scare and her show, So You Think You Can Dance, being cancelled, The Sun can exclusively reveal.

The 43-year-old presenter, who moved to the US from Britain 14 years ago, has regularly shown off her stunning abode on Instagram.

She shares the stunning pad with Irish husband, Patrick Kielty, and their two sons Milo, four, and two-year-old James.

A new property listing shows the four bed, five bath property, with the desirable 90210 zip code, is on the market for a whopping £3.8million ($4,995,000), The Sun can report.

The family, who have hinted at a move back to the UK, could be set to make millions in profit on the luxury home after purchasing it for just £2m ($2,699,000) back in 2006.

In an interview with the UK's Stella Magazine in July last year, Cat revealed her horror after her husband and eldest son were caught up in a shooter scare at Century City Hall.

She recalled speaking to Paddy, 49, on the phone, who told her: "Everyone was either told to lie behind the counter or pushed into the loos.

"People were screaming and crying. Then as they were all hiding, the FBI turned up with guns. Paddy kept Milo calm – he didn’t really know what was going on – and in the end it just turned out to be a suspect package."

Describing the gun laws in America as "crazy," she admitted they were considering a move back home, but said it would be a "tough decision" after years living across the pond.

"Things change when you have children and when you think Trump may get in for a second term," she said.

"But then over here we’ve got Brexit. If we moved to Ireland, there’s the border situation. It’s all a bit of a mess right now."

Social media snaps suggest the family packed up and left LA during the pandemic, with Cat sharing photographs of her and her sons playing and blowing bubbles in the countryside.

In June, she told fans of her heartbreak after her show, So You Think You Can Dance, had been canceled by FOX due to the Covid-19 outbreak, and has given no update as to whether she would return.

She wrote: "It is with great sadness that we confirm that due to governmental restrictions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic situation and for the health and safety of everyone involved in SYTYCD Fox have decided to cancel season 17.

"I want to thank ALL the many talented dancers who auditioned for us this year and we will all miss SYTYCD this summer!"

Cat, who married presenter Paddy in 2012, also hinted earlier this year that she could be set to make a major comeback with TV duo, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, years after their hit show SM:TV Live ended.

She described working on the show as, "the best fun we've ever had," and when quizzed about a reunion, replied: "Quite possibly…”
