Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Tilly ruled out of Strictly after nasty fall left her with broken arm
GORDON Ramsay’s daughter Tilly has been ruled out of this year’s Strictly after a nasty fall left her with a broken arm.
The aspiring telly star, 18, was put in a cast last week and a source said: “Tilly was geared up for this year’s show but won’t be better in time for filming.
“It’s a huge blow for her as she was hugely excited about taking part.
“And it’s a headache for BBC bosses, who thought signing Tilly was a coup, with her famous dad and his pals bound to back her.
“Tilly has been told by doctors her arm won’t be fixed in time.
“There was talk of her taking it day-by-day, but ultimately it’s not worth pushing her if she’s not going to be healed.
“She’s been assured next year talks will resume if she is still up for taking part.”
The Sun first revealed how the BBC were in advanced talks with Tilly in May.
Since 2015, Tilly has fronted a CBBC cooking show, Matilda And The Ramsay Bunch, and has worked with Gordon, 53, on This Morning for a regular segment called Big Chef, Little Chef.
Tilly would have been the youngest signing for this year’s series.
Strictly has struggled to get big name stars to sign up for the fee - which many have moaned is too small.
Last week The Sun reported how many A-list stars had turned down a space on the show because of the low budget.
