Madonna and kids Rocco and Lourdes don terrifying masks for night out at creepy New York show Sleep No More
The singer and two of her kids were heading to see the eerie theatrical performance on Broadway
MADONNA masked up in some quirky face gear as she took children Lourdes Leon and Rocco Ritchie out to a spooky show in New York.
The white get-up completely covered the singer's face - bar two eye holes - and looked incredibly creepy.
Though the mask might have been rather apt for Phantom of the Opera, Madge and her brood were heading from a performance of Sleep No More.
The theatrical spectacular requires all audience members to sport the quirky face gear - yet it seems the famous family were so eager to stay in character they kept their masks on in the car.
The trio were seen clambering into the vehicle wearing otherwise rather casual outfits.
The Material Girl sported an equally quirky T-shirt with jeans while Rocco wore a lilac top with white stripes and black trousers with a white print.
The US stage show is loosely based on Shakespeare classic Macbeth.
It is set in 1930s establishment the McKittrick Hotel with audience members asked to keep the masks glued to their faces throughout.
Not only that, Madonna and her fellow theatre-goers would have sat still and in silence throughout.
Her public outing with Rocco marks another step forward in their mother-and-son relationship.
Late last year the American star became embroiled in a nasty legal battle with ex-husband Guy Ritchie after falling out with her eldest son.
The feud began after he walked off her Rebel Heart World Tour and jetted to London to stay with dad Guy.
The move sparked a bitter tug-of-war between the parents, who battled for custody of Rocco in the courts.
A judge ordered Rocco to return to his mother in New York before Christmas, but the youngster refused.
The singer even attempted to use anti-child abduction laws in a bid to bring Rocco back into her care.
After the tour ended, Madonna headed to the UK in a bid to make up with Rocco and settle the legal dispute.
In May, the pair ended months of estrangement and now seem to be enjoying spending time together.
