Viewers slam Myleene Klass over single mums documentary saying she doesn’t understand their struggle
Myleene split from her husband Graham Quinn four years ago and raises their daughters alone
VIEWERS were left unimpressed by Myleene Klass's documentary, insisting the former pop singer who has "millions in the bank" can't relate to single mums.
Myleene Klass: Single Mums on Benefits aired on Tuesday night and followed Myleene, 38, as she interviewed other women with kids to see how they spend their money.
Throughout the documentary, Myleene showed sympathy to mums who are raising their children alone as she is a single mum to her daughters, Ava, eight, and Hero, five since she split from her husband Graham Quinn four years ago.
She met self-proclaimed 'Welfare Queen' Marie Buchan who is an unemployed mum of eight and claims £26,000 pounds in benefits which she says isn't enough.
However, some viewers slammed Myleene for putting herself in the same category as other single mums with many bringing up her wealth and saying how she "has a completely different life" and "doesn't know the struggle".
Shauna wrote: "Myleene Klass has no clue what it is like to be a struggling single mom," while Clare added: "Finding it a bit patronising that millionaire Myleene Klass is doing a programme about single mums. Not exactly the real world."
Others commented on the clothes she wore during filming, with one of her coats costing hundred of pounds.
Adam wrote: "Myleene Klass trying to fit in on this single parents programme...she might have been convincing if she wasn't wearing Canada Goose."
Others supported her and said the show gave a positive view of single mums.
She also met with some teens mums and single dads, such as Ben whose wife Desreen tragically died after being hit by a car.
