Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan set to move to USA in bid get marriage back on track
Reality star and ex-Corrie actress have been battling split rumours for months
MARK Wright and Michelle Keegan look like they will be moving over to the USA in a bid to keep their marriage on track.
The couple, who have just celebrated their one-year anniversary, are reportedly set to leave the UK and start over in Los Angeles.
A source told Heat Magazine: “They think it could be really good for their marriage and they feel like it’s a really good time for a fresh start.”
With Mark’s kids TV show The Dengineers being picked up by an American network and filming for Michelle’s series Our Girl winding down, the couple now seem to be setting their sights on breaking Hollywood.
The source added: "They've both made no secret of their wish to crack America, and they're making plans to move over there."
The pair, who got married on 24 May last year, have found their relationship plagued with ongoing break-up rumours.
In recent months they have both been spotted not wearing their wedding rings, and have all but disappeared from each other’s social media pages.
Sources later reassured The Sun that Michelle had her £20,000 sparkler locked away in a safe while she was shooting the BBC war drama in South Africa.
When Michelle was shooting the drama in Cape Town, Mark and his family flew over to visit her on set.
However, Mark, who frequently posts updates of his life on social media, failed to post a single shot of himself with his wife during the trip.
But the couple seem intent on keeping their marriage alive, putting on a united front at the BAFTA’s in May.
They are now said to be hoping that the move over to Los Angeles will progress their careers and save their marriage.
On their anniversary, Michelle posted a flashback photo of their wedding day, but Mark posted a selfie by himself, despite getting their special date etched onto a pair of football boots.
New! magazine recently reported that Mark became concerned when fans linked Michelle to hunky co-star Ben Aldridge during Our Girl's production.
The gossip was sparked by a picture she posed on Instagram which showed her resting her hand on Ben's shoulder in a cast picture.
A source told the publication she was enjoying herself and looked like “the only girl on a stag do full of hotties”.
However, a representative for former Towie star Mark quashed the jealously rumours, telling The Sun Online the allegations were "completely fabricated and made up."
