ITV confirm Emily Atack’s stand-up sketch show after she launches career as a comedian following I’m A Celeb
EMILY Atack has bagged her very own stand-up sketch show after launching her career as a comedian.
The 30-year-old actress is set to front The Emily Atack Show, which will combine her stand up routines and specially filmed stretches.
The ITV2 series will be made up of six different episodes, themed on dating, going out, friends, family, image and adulting.
It will also incorporate some of the talented star's range of impressions, including those of TOWIE's Gemma Collins and This Morning host Holly Willoughby.
Emily confirmed the news earlier this month on Twitter.
In the exciting message, accompanied by a cute shot showing her sticking her tongue out, she wrote: "Here we go…The Emily Atack show is coming to ITV2!
"I have written the most ridiculously outrageous sketch show for you all!
"This is all I’ve ever wanted. I wish I could tell 16 year old crying in the toilets, boy mad Emily this would come one day."
The former Inbetweeners star then promised her fans: "I won’t let you down."
Paul Mortimer, Head of ITV's Digital Channels, added of the series: "Emily's name is in the title of this new show so it will therefore showcase her own fantastic range and versatility as an actress, mimic and stand-up comedy star."
The exciting announcement comes almost two years after Emily appeared in the I'm A Celeb jungle.
The blonde won over viewers on the ITV show, where she narrowly lost out on being crowned queen to favourite Harry Redknapp.
It's certainly been an eventful few weeks for the star.
As well as landing her own TV show, Emily has also moved into an amazing new home after being forced to move last minute.
She was spotted celebrating with her removal men after she suddenly had to up sticks and leave her last pad.
Posing for a picture with her team of removal men, Emily said: "Had to move last minute this week, I live alone so not the easiest of tasks - these guys arrived and we had such a laugh from start to finish.
"Packed and delivered me and my things to my new gaff safe and sound, we had a quick drink before they departed. Kindness goes A LONG way!"
She even admitted to missing the lads once they'd had their bevvies and left her place.
