Victoria Beckham helps Eva Longoria get ready for her wedding in gorgeous behind the scenes snaps
It was "a Victoria Beckham weekend" as she helped the bride put on her wedding dress and shoes
WHEN Eva Longoria got married, best friend Victoria Beckham was tasked not only with being a witness at the civil ceremony, but with designing the all-important dress too.
In behind-the-scenes snaps, the singer can be seen helping Eva get ready for her big day by making sure her dress perfectly fitted her petite frame.
In her third marriage, Eva said "I do" to president of Televisa Jose Baston in a lavish ceremony in Valle de Bravo, Mexico, last weekend.
Although images and videos - including one of David Beckham taking to the dancefloor - of the wedding itself have been seen, Eva and best friend Victoria have now posted photos of heart-warming moments the two of them shared before the ceremony took place.
One shot shows Victoria, who has her own eponymous fashion line, lovingly smoothing down the figure-hugging bright white dress she created.
Uploading the photo to Instagram, the mum-of-four wrote: "@evalongoria the most beautiful bride. I am honoured to have created your wedding dress X Thank you for asking me!!! X We love u! X."
The blushing bride also shared the photo of the beautiful brunettes getting ready in a plush hotel room.
She wrote: "This was the wedding dress I dreamed of! Thank u @victoriabeckham for having the best vision for my dress! Love you!"
Looking more relaxed in a second behind-the-scenes shot, the bride-to-be giggled as her dress designer helped put on her towering high heeled shoes.
At this point the 41-year-old was yet to slip in to her stunning silk dress, instead wearing a short robe whilst the exclusive design hung safely on the wall behind.
However, her flawless hair and make up had been completed, her beaming grin offset by pink lips and a glistening clasp in her wavy hair.
Sharing this photo, Victoria simply captioned it: "@evalongoria #friends x."
The silk crepe wedding dress was not the only piece the 42-year-old dressed her close girlfriend in.
She also created another dress for the post-dinner celebrations, as well as a third for the civil ceremony the day before, which had taken place at the home of the owner of Mexican multimedia company Televisa.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, Eva gushed about why she had chosen her pal to design her dress.
She said: ";I asked Victoria to do my dress because I wanted it to be special and made with love - and I knew that Victoria would make it with love."
The actress-turned-producer went on to explain that her nuptials turned in to "a Victoria Beckham weekend."
She revealed: "Victoria was one of my witnesses too. She signed the paper that says I was here - so it was a Victoria Beckham weekend.
"Not only did she do my wedding dress but she's one of my best friends so for her to be there was so special."

The two women first became close when the Beckham clan lived in LA during David's time with Major League Soccer team LA Galaxy.
Eva, who was previously married to US actor Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004, and basketball player Tony Parker from 2007 to 2011, invited a whole host of other celebrities to her ceremony.
Fellow Desperate Housewives actress Vanessa Williams sang Save The Best For Last, whilst Penelope Cruz, Ricky Martin and Katy Perry were also thought to be in attendance.
The Beckhams continued to be a vital part of the big day as whilst Victoria helped with the getting-ready process, her husband then kept the party going later in the evening.
He quickly became buddies with former Saved By The Bell actor Mario Lopez, who shared a number of videos of the pair of them dancing away to throwback tunes at the glamorous reception.
He captioned one of the videos: "80s band was on point...#EvaAndPepeWedding."
In one clip the dapper looking men have a warble together whilst the bride and her best friend sing to each other.
In another video Posh can be seen going back to her popstar roots by singing along to Wham! whilst Eva dances on a table.
It wasn't just the newlywed who was pleased to have the Beckhams around, Mario evidently enjoyed their company too.
Sharing another snap of him and his wife Courtney Mazza with the power couple, he wrote: "Partied all weekend with the coolest couple."
