Lily-Rose Depp rushes to the defence of father Johnny with hard-hitting Instagram post
The 17-year-old posted comments from LAPD policeman denying evidence of assault
LILY-ROSE Depp has come to the defence of father Johnny with a revealing Instagram post showing police found no evidence of an attack against Amber Heard.
A restraining order was issued against the Pirates of the Caribbean star on Friday after estranged wife Heard alleged he had been violent towards her during their marriage.
But his eldest child took to her Instagram page yesterday to share a screenshot of an article from PEOPLE which showed that LAPD officers called to the scene of the alleged assault could find no proof that a crime had occurred.
It read: “The Los Angeles Police Department investigated 's domestic abuse claim against on May 21, but found no proof that a crime had occurred, a police spokesman tells PEOPLE.
"On May 21, 2016, officers responded to a domestic incident radio call..." LAPD Sgt. Marlon Marrache says. "The person reporting the crime [Heard] did not insist on a report and no report was warranted. There was no evidence of any crime. A crime did not occur so the officers left the scene and left a business card."
“Marrache adds that if there had been any signs of abuse, officers would have conducted an investigation, regardless of what Heard said had happened. “
Heard, 30, filed for divorce from the actor last week claiming irreconcilable differences and then appeared in court with a visible bruise on her face, claiming Johnny threw an iPhone at her.
She said in court documents: "I live in fear that Johnny will return to the residence unannounced to terrorise me, physically and emotionally."
But Depp’s daughter came to his defence again, this time as she shared an old photo of him and her as a toddler and wrote: “My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know, he's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same.”

Her mother, French model and singer Vanessa Paradis, who was with the actor for 14 years and also has a son called Jack with him, also came out in his defence this weekend.
In a personal note, she wrote: "Johnny Depp is the father of my two children, he is a sensitive, loving and loved person, and I believe with all my heart that these recent allegations being made are outrageous.
"In all the years I have known Johnny, he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years."
Jonny is currently in Stockholm, Sweden where he is filming his new movie The Hollywood Vampires and is said to holed up in his £8,000 suite at the Grand Hotel “keeping himself to himself”.
