Emmerdale’s Vanessa Woodfield’s exit storyline revealed as she moves in with her mum
EMMERDALE's Vanessa Woodfield has officially left the village as she continues to battle bowel cancer.
Actress Michelle Hardick is pregnant meaning fans will not see the vet on their screens for some time as she goes on maternity leave.

Vanessa , who is currently in the midst of a bowel cancer fight and has asked Charity to be Johnny’s guardian in the case of her death.
But the pair were dismayed to discover that the decision wasn’t as straight forward as they’d hoped - and that they would need permission from Vanessa’s ex Kirin before going ahead.
Charity is determined to see Johnny’s adoption through in Emmerdale despite the complications and has set about tracking Kirin down.
Last night Charity casually revealed that Vanessa had moved in with her mum to focus on the fight with the disease.
Michelle recently addressed her exit from the soap.
She said: "Charity adopting Johnny is a massive step in their relationship.
"Obviously with me not being onscreen for the foreseeable due to my pregnancy, the story will continue going forward as Charity navigates her life and parenthood in the absence of Vanessa."
Earlier this month Michelle Hardwick has revealed her growing baby bump as she hits the seven month mark in her pregnancy.
The actress - who plays Vanessa Woodfield in the popular ITV soap - announced the happy news that she was six months pregnant with her first child back in April.

The mum-to-be, 44, looked glowing as she posed in her special NHS t-shirt, some pink pyjama bottoms and no make-up for the Instagram snap.
She captioned the post: "Third trimester here we come 😃"
On April 21, 2020 Michelle revealed that she was pregnant and is due to give birth in October 2020.
