Emily Atack lands her own ITV2 show where she’ll do impressions of Gemma Collins and Holly Willoughby

EMILY Atack has vowed to be "outrageous" as she revealed she's bringing her self-penned sketch show to TV.

The former I'm A Celeb 2018 star, 30, took to her Twitter page for her big reveal today, confirming her antics would be broadcast on ITV2.

In the exciting message, accompanied by a cute shot showing her sticking her tongue out, she wrote: "Here we go…The Emily Atack show is coming to ITV2!

"I have written the most ridiculously outrageous sketch show for you all!

"This is all I’ve ever wanted. I wish I could tell 16 year old crying in the toilets, boy mad Emily this would come one day."

The Inbetweeners actress then promised her fans: "I won’t let you down."

The Emily Atack show will feature six different episodes, themed on dating, going out, friends, family, image and adulting.

It will also incorporate some of the talented star's range of impressions, including those of TOWIE's Gemma Collins and This Morning host Holly Willoughby.

A date for transmission has not yet been set, yet the announcement has generated a flurry of excitement.

Comedian Chris Ramsey commented: "Fantastic news. Congrats mate!"

DJ Will Manning added: "About bloody time congrats superstar."

One fan then gushed: "Is this the best news or what?"

Paul Mortimer, Head of ITV's Digital Channels, added of the series: "Emily's name is in the title of this new show so it will therefore showcase her own fantastic range and versatility as an actress, mimic and stand-up comedy star."

Emily has been spending her lockdown period on her own in her flat - which might well have sparked her creative streak for her show.

Another unexpected outcome of her coronavirus imposed social distancing has been a one-stone weight loss.

Speaking to the  she said: "I think because I haven't been able to the pubs I'm healthier. I've been working out a lot in my garden, which I'm very lucky to have.

“'I've lost a lot of weight by accident really. It wasn't my goal to lose weight but I think it's down to not going to pubs and restaurants.

“I work out more so for my mental health, the goal is never to lose weight but to remain as happy and healthy as I can be.”
