Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek looks strong and healthy as he reveals he’s ‘doing well’ in pancreatic cancer battle
A NEW look Alex Trebeck gave Jeopardy! fans a positive update about his fight against pancreatic cancer and says he is "doing well."
The 79-year-old Jeopardy! host sported a new goatee as he updated fans about the famous show which paused production due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"I'd also like to take this opportunity to give you a quick health update," Alex said.
"I'm doing well, I'm continuing treatment and it's paying off though it does fatigue me a great deal."
In a joint sit-down with his wife of 30 years, Jean Trebeck, he emotionally said of his spouse: “It’s always tough for caretakers because she has to deal with her worrying about my well-being and also dealing with.
"I’m not always the most pleasant person to be around when I’m experiencing severe pain or depression, and she has to tread lightly around me.”
The couple share two children together - 29-year-old son Matthew and 26-year-old daughter Emily.
He continued to confess to the the GMA anchor that he has “rehearsed” the for the show he has been the face of since 1984.
