DOCTOR Who is reviving Peter Davison to front a lockdown miniseries tracking Gallifrey’s Time War with the evil Daleks.
Scheduled for release in October, the two miniseries will see the actor reprise his role as The Fifth Doctor.
Davison, 66, was the Doctor from 1982 until 1984 and battled a series of evil monsters during his time.
It was in this fifth body that the Doctor reunited with his past selves to fight in the Death Zone on Gallifrey.
Infected with a deadly virus and with only enough antidote to save one, the Fifth Doctor sacrificed his life to save his friend Peri.
Big Finish Audio is renowned for its full cast, award-winning audio books, and perhaps best known for its Doctor Who ranges and its various spin-offs.
Davison has been recording multiple stories remotely in lockdown as part of a larger two-part miniseries that finds The Fifth Doctor dragged into a battle with the Daleks during the Time War on Gallifrey.
Fans can also look forward to its most recent remote recordings with Fourth Doctor actor Tom Baker.
The first four adventures are available for pre-order ahead of an October release for £14.99 each on CD and £12.99 on digital download.
Peter came under fire in 2017 when he was forced to quit Twitter over his comments about the new Doctor, Jodie Whittaker.

He wrote: "All this toxicity about a sci-fi show has been sobering.
"I’m calling it a day. @PeterDavison5 used to be fun. Now it’s not. Must Dash. xx"
Davison - who played the fifth doctor in the 80s came under fire after he said young boys would lose a role model after Jodie was cast as the first woman Doctor Who.
He told PA that his only doubt over the new Doctor was: "the loss of a role model for boys who I think Doctor Who is vitally important for".
His comments sparked a massive debate with Colin Baker - another former Doctor - saying he was talking "absolute rubbish".
