Inside Piers Morgan’s Saint Tropez holiday retreat as he relaxes topless in the sun
PIERS Morgan is enjoying his luxury St.Tropez holiday retreat as he’s seen relaxing topless in the sun.
The TV presenter’s son Spencer shared the view of his dad relaxing on the decking of their incredible villa.
Spencer, 26, is currently on holiday with his dad Piers, 55, and step-mum Celia Waldren, 44, in Provence, in the south of France.
The grounds of the villa show a huge manicured lawn with tall trees, two large decks – one for sunbathing and another for dining – and steps leading down to a huge swimming pool.
It looks like the perfect place for the Piers to relax after working tirelessly on Good Morning Britain to deliver news on the coronavirus crisis.
Piers recently revealed he had quit the UK for the summer saying he's a "washed up, knackered pathetic excuse for a celebrity".
But after finishing his last day on the ITV breakfast show on Wednesday, Piers is headed out of London in search of some sunshine.
Posting a snap of himself onboard a flight wearing a facemask from Heathrow airport, Piers said: "I’m a washed up, knackered pathetic excuse for a celebrity... get me outta here.
"Bye Britain, it’s been... surreal."
He admitted it had been a "very long year" as he "signed off for the summer" with co-host Susanna Reid this week.
The controversial star came under fire recently after he shared an incredible sunset snap from his beautiful French villa.
Piers has not broken any rules to travel abroad - and has followed guidelines such as wearing a face mask on his flight.
The Government's website states there is no restriction on travel to France from the UK and travellers are no longer required to self-isolate on arrival.
But some of his followers still felt he was setting a bad example.
Underneath Piers' picture of an orange sky from a flower-lined terrace, one wrote: "Dr Hilary said DONT fly. Why do you preach on TV then do the opposite."
Another commented: "So true. On tv every day spreading negativity. Then picking up his big Cheque every week.

But many others were happy for the journalist, telling the critics: "Hang on a minute. We can all travel over to France. An apartment, hotel of villa is in reach of most peoples budget right now.
