Wayne Rooney carries son Kit on his shoulder as he and Coleen enjoy family day with the kids in Cheshire

THE Rooneys enjoyed the easing of lockdown with a spot of lunch in Cheshire.

Footballer Wayne, 34 and Coleen, 34 spent some quality time with their four lads Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass.

They were also joined by Coleen’s parents Tony and Collette after months of lockdown.

It comes after Coleen discovered fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy is taking her to court over their "Wagatha Christie" row.

Becky, 38, has lodged court papers which claim her former friend Coleen libelled or slandered her by accusing her on social media of leaking stories.

Sources close to the case say legal costs are set to spiral up to £500,000 for each side. The two mums had attempted mediation to resolve it.

But Becky, wife of Leicester striker Jamie, has instructed a team of big-hitting lawyers to begin what will be one of the most explosive celebrity cases to reach London’s High Court.

At least the family day out will be a nice break from the ongoing WAG feud.
