Robbie Williams says he’s now addicted to online golf after quitting booze
EX-DRINK and drug abuser Robbie Williams has a new addiction — online golf.
The singer, 48, admits he has a compulsive personality — and says he banned chocolate from his house after becoming “morbidly obese”.
But after quitting cigs, booze, cakes and crisps, his latest vice is playing online golf when his family is in bed.
As part of his healthy living programme, the Weight Watchers ambassador became so keen on real-world golf last year he described it as “the new crack”.
But during lockdown at his LA home he has taken his obsession online.
The dad of four, who quit drugs in 2007, told Weight Watchers magazine he has always been “a man of extremes”.
He said: “This is something I was explaining to my wife Ayda.
"My addictions will manifest every day.
“So when I wasn’t sleeping last night, I was playing golf online.
"It’s something I look forward to when the kids have gone to bed.
