Talking Heads’ Jodie Comer quits social media amid cruel trolling after playing soft porn actress
TALKING Heads' Jodie Comer quits social media after being on the receiving end of cruel trolling.
The actress plays a soft porn actress in the BBC monologue series and quizzed her on not being very active on social media recently.
Jodie, 27, says she has to learn not to seek out the trolls online and until then, she has decided to limit her time on social media platforms.
The actress revealed: "Until I get some self-control and manage not to go and seek out negative things on social media, I think it's best for me to take a little step back.
"Also now, in this time, I am trying to be a little bit conscious of what I use it for."
The Killing Eve star explained: "It feels a bit wrong to me to be doing any sort of self-promotion at the moment, so I'm trying to be a little bit wary of that, while also being communicative and speaking to people.
"It's something I'm figuring out - it's a tricky thing."
Meanwhile, Jodie previously told she used to suffer from imposter syndrome.
The Emmy-award winner discussed: "I think it's something that is ingrained in you without you even knowing, like Stephen Graham, I always talk about this imposter syndrome because of where you're from.
"It's like, 'Well, actually, no. You have as much right to be there as anybody else with any other kind of background'".

Jodie Comer almost ditched her Scouse accent but Save Me Too star and fellow Scouser Stephen Graham convinced her not to.
The 27-year-old uses an array of accents as stylish assassin Villanelle in the hit BBC series, but in real life she has a strong Liverpudlian twang.
She told the : "Do you know what, it’s funny because when I was much younger, when I was with another agency and really young, I don’t know where I got it from, but I thought 'I have to lose my accent'."
Thankfully, fellow Scouser Stephen, who starred in the last series of Line of Duty, convinced her not to.
