EastEnders Bobby Beale shocks viewers by finally admitting to killing Lucy
The teenage murderer rushed in to the Queen Vic still brandishing a weapon
BOBBY Beale shocked EastEnders viewers when he finally admitted to killing Lucy and attacking stepmum Jane on Monday night.
At the end of Friday night's episode fans were left on tenterhooks having just watched demon child Bobby batter Jane with a hockey stick.
At the end of last week, stepmum Jane was attempting to stop the youngster running away from home when he turned on her in a ferocious fit of rage.
He had also previously beaten his sister Lucy to death, a murder for which there were 77 possible suspects at one point.
Monday night's dramatic episode saw the aftermath of the bloody beating, with Bobby running in to the Queen Vic to confess to his crimes, still brandishing the hockey stick.
He shouted to Ian Beale and appalled pub-goers: "Dad, I killed mum, just like I killed Lucy."
The admission got the Albert Square residents talking, with Mick Carter trying to keep everyone calm.
He suggested: "Let's just wait until we know all the facts."
"I heard it with my own ears," said Kim.
"Don't be silly, he's only a kid," replied Denise.
Over at the Beales' house there was chaos as Ian and Sharon burst in to find an unconscious Jane lying on the floor.
In an attempted to help her friend, Sharon desperately asked: "Jane, can you hear me?"
Meanwhile, away from the crime scene the rest of Walford continued to talk.
Ben Mitchell, who had previously been arrested for Lucy's murder before Max Branning was finally convicted, shared his thoughts on the drama.
"They tried to pin this on me and the whole time they were covering," he said about Bobby's parents.
Fans were quick to react to the confession on Twitter.
"What a night! Ian Beale twerked, Bobby tried to kill his mum, Tracy got locked in cupboard and Roy took a picture, EPIC #EastEnders," one wrote.
Another Tweeted: "#EastEnders is too much! First Peggy kills herself and now a child of Ian Beale is a little demon! Bobby you know."
A third asked: Has anyone made an #EastEnders #cluedo? Bobby Beale. In the lounge dining room. With a hockey stick."
Viewers were again left with a cliffhanger as Ian's escape plan was foiled by a suspicious Mick.
A BBC spokesperson confirmed that Bobby won't get away with his savage attacks, saying: "Viewers will soon see Bobby arrested by police and he and his family will be facing up to his behaviour in the most serious of ways."
