David Walliams grins as he poses with Charlotte Crosby… hours after revealing he wanted to meet her on BGMT
The funnyman revealed he's a 'big fan' of the Geordie Shore star
DAVID Walliams looked delighted with himself as he posed with Charlotte Crosby after the BGT semi-final last night.
The funnyman revealed he's a 'big fan' of the Geordie Shore star.
As Stephen Mulhern revealed that Charlotte would be joining the Britain's Got More Talent panel to discuss the night's performances, David said he wanted to meet her.
He said: "I’d like to meet one of your guests later on, I’d like to meet Charlotte Crosby. I’m a big fan."
His fellow judges looked amused and Stephen said: "I shall sort that out for you, it’s not a problem."
It looks like Stephen followed through on his promise as Charlotte shared a picture of her with David backstage after the show.
Charlotte looked like she was having a ball on the ITV2 spin-off show as she joined TV presenter Laura Whitmore and radio presenter Matthew Edmondson on the panel.
When discussing the acts set to perform on tonight's semi-final such as sword swallower Alex Magala, dance act Another Kind of Blue and accordion player Vitaly Voronko, Charlotte said they were "boring".
She explained: "When I go to Magaluf on a girls holiday, there’s sword swallowers on every single corner.
“Sword swallowers, fire breathers, you’ve got them all."
Stephen responded by asking her: "What’s the longest thing you’ve had down your throat?"
Moving swiftly on, he quizzed them about their favourite acts and Charlotte jumped out of her seat in excitement over ballet act Shannon and Peter.
She said: “They are my favourite in the world because it’s a lovely magical romance story with a happily ever after."
The Geordie babe looked stunning for her appearance on the reality show as she showed off her trim figure in a skintight black catsuit.
She famously slimmed down from a size 16 to a size 8 last year and released a best-selling fitness DVD.
She accessorised her outfit with a pair of peep-toe black patent heels.
Naturally she wore a full face of make-up with winged eyeliner and plenty of false eyelashes on her eyes.
Charlotte, 26, wore her long blonde hair straight to her waist.
It was a dramatic first semi-final as David and his fellow judges, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden had to choose who would go through to this week's final.
100 Voice of Gospel were the first act to make it through and after Simon sent the decision to the public vote, mother and son duo Mel and Jamie beat Welsh singer Kathleen Jenkins.
It was a shock result since Kathleen had been considered one of the favourites for the competition after moving viewers with her shyness and close relationship to her dad.
Tonight's second semi-final will feature Simon's Golden Buzzer act Boogie Storm, as well as sword swallower Alex Malana, The Garnett Family, Ian and Anne Marshall and dance group Mythical PSM.
Other acts include visual dance act Another Kind of Blue, Corrie actress turned singer Rachael Wooding, senior dancers Shannon and Peter, accordion player Vitaly Voronko and performer Wayne Woodward.
The BGT semi-final airs tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
