Calvin Harris is back on the road just hours after horror car crash left in him in hospital

CALVIN Harris is back on the road less than 24 hours after he cheated death in a horror car crash.

The DJ was hospitalised in Los Angeles on Friday night after a car driven by a 16-year-old girl collided with his 4x4.

He has now been pictured for the first time since the terrifying road accident, which prompted him to cancel a number of performances.

Calvin, 32, was spotted getting into a black sports car with a friend on Saturday, just hours after the Friday night drama.

He was pictured sat in the passenger's seat as he was driven by a male pal.

The DJ's return to the road came after he was injured in the smash late on Friday night as he was being driven to the airport to catch a flight to Las Vegas.

He has been due to play a set at Sin City's Omnia nightclub, but didn't make it as he was caught up in the accident.

The Cadillac SUV he was travelling in was hit by a VW Beetle driven by a 16-year-old girl which swerved into oncoming traffic.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene and transported to a local hopital by ambulance.

The star, real name Adam Wiles, is believed to have suffered a cut to his face, and was discharged from the medical centre shortly after his admission.

He also pulled out of several performances to recover from his injuries, including a planned set at a festival in Alabama tonight.

The accident was confirmed in a statement posted on Calvin's Facebook page.

It explained: "Adam's transport was involved in a collision this evening on the way to the airport.
"As a result he will be unable to perform at Omnia tonight. He has been examined by doctors and told to rest for a few days."

Calvin's girlfriend Taylor Swift has yet to comment on the accident, but reports suggest she was the first person the DJ called after the crash.

The driver of the vehicle which crashed into Calvin's car is also believed to have been hospitalised following the accident.

Celebrity website TMZ.com reported that the other passengers in the VW were all teenagers, and one young girl suffered a broken pelvis.

She is believed to have been thrown from the car as she was sitting on her boyfriend's lap at the time of the collision.
