TV hosts got their wired crossed after Ferne revealed she is swapping Brentwood for Hollywood after landing major movie role during trip to Cannes
HOLLY Willoughby scolded her This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield off for insinuating McCann's new movie role is in a porn film.
Ferne appeared on the show today to confirm she is heading to Hollywood this summer after landing an acting job at Cannes.
However, the hosts appeared to get their wires crossed and Holly accused Phil of hinting that Ferne is becoming a porn star instead of an actress.
The former Towie star landed the exciting new opportunity this week after attending meetings with movie producers at the Cannes Film Festival.
She made the announcement on This Morning today, spilling the news of her new job to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Phil broached the subject, asking her: "Have you come back from Cannes with a movie offer?"
Ferne then confirmed the news as she said: "Yes... It's not that random. Because after my musical debut, I found my calling...
"I just loved it. I want to act. I wanna be in films. I went out to Cannes. I went last year, loved it, went back again. Had a few meetings, have been offered a film role, going out to LA in July to talk more."
The news thrilled Holly, who declared: "You are living the dream... This is great!"
Ferne added: "No dream is too big guys.. It almost seems a little too good to be true."
The group was then given a laugh when Phil said: "Do you know what sort of a movie it is?" and Ferne answered: "Yes... What are those eyes for?"
Holly then accused her co-host of insinuating Ferne is appearing in a porn film, saying: "It's not an adult movie!" and he added: "I wasn't suggesting it was."
Shocked Ferne then responded: "It is absolutely not an adult movie."
Ferne, 25, was among those who flocked to the French Riviera to mingle with movie stars, musicians and models at the world's most famous film event.
She confirmed her trip was not just to attend the parties - she was meeting producers in the hope of landing acting work.
It was a big success and Ferne was offered a film part, so she is decamping to LA in July to get started.
Reports suggest the part will be that of a policewoman in a musical alongside Wolf of Wall Street star Margot Robbie.
Ferne has previous experience of singing and acting after landing a role in a recent stage production of The Great Gatsby.
She admits appearing in the show fuelled her passion for acting, and she is now hoping to land a full-time career in Hollywood.
The busty TV star also talked about her trip to the South of France, revealing she sat next to model Kendall Jenner and her mum Kris during a luncheon at Cannes' famous Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc.
She added: "Cannes was great, I loved it. It was really cool. I was literally sitting next to Kendall and Kris jenner at lunch at the du Cap. It was fabulous. I had such an amazing time. Happy to be home though."
