Cara Delevingne’s mum begs for her ‘lonely’ girl to ‘come home’ after Eurostar meltdown

Her concerned mother has admitted that her jetsetting daughter leads a strange life

AFTER her expletive tirade on the Eurostar, Cara Delevingne's mother has begged her daughter to "come home."

The model was detained for an hour and fined for verbally abusing Parisian security staff, but her mum has suggested that the world's media doesn't see the real Cara.

The Burberry beauty was attempting to board a Eurostar train from Paris back to London when she found herself subject to a random bag search that caused her to have an aggressive meltdown.

Shedding light on the 23-year-old's behaviour, Pandora Delevingne has spoken to about the odd life her daughter leads.

The 56-year-old explained: "She has a very strange life. One minute she’s surrounded by friends, the next she’s all on her own jetting across the world.

"Everyone thinks they know her, but they don’t and it’s quite a lonely life.

"Sometimes I wish my little girl would just come home."

She added: "Then I remember she’s not my little girl any more.

"She’s her own woman, Cara, and I respect her for that."

Onlookers report that the model acted like a "spoiled brat" when she erupted in fury on her way from Paris to London for her sister Poppy's birthday party.

Alongside her agent, she was due to board the Eurostar from Gare du Nord at 3.50pm on Thursday 5th May.

After her luggage was pulled aside for a random check she began to swear at the officer and his colleague, before getting down on her knees and pretending to pray that she would be allowed to board her train.

An onlooker said: “It was a full-on meltdown in the middle of security. There were at least 20 people around and she didn’t seem to care who saw.

“It was like she thought she didn’t have to abide by the same rules as everyone else just because she’s famous.

“Cara was with a friend who was trying to calm her down, but it wasn’t working. She shouted ‘let him do his f**king job, it’s ridiculous’.

“She got down on her knees and put her hands together as if she was praying for the whole thing to be over. It was bizarre.”

A French security source admitted that officers are sick of celebrities thinking they're above the law.

He said: "Everyone is subject to the same security procedures regardless of how well known they are.

“Sometimes celebrities will behave as if they are above the law and will be rude for no reason.

“They need to learn they have to be treated the same as everyone else.”

The Burberry model continued to defy instruction as she used her phone despite being told to put it away.

As she was taken upstairs to a private room she screamed "f*** you" at a female officer, and later emerged with red eyes, making passengers believe she had been crying during the interrogation.

Cara, who will star in upcoming summer blockbuster Suicide Squad, later apologised to the officers and was able to board her train.

That evening she was spotted arriving safely at her sister's birthday bash at Chiltern Firehouse in London, alongside her loving mother and father, Charles.
