Will Bobby kill again after battering mum Jane with a hockey stick in shocking scenes?
BOBBY Beale leaves his stepmum Jane fighting for her life after battering her with a hockey stick in upcoming scenes from EastEnders.
In a sneak peek at what is to come the he troubled school boy, who famously killed his sister Lucy, can be seen standing over Jane as she lies unconscious on the floor following the brutal beating.
Shell-shocked Bobby, played by Elliot Carrington, then runs to the Queen Vic to tell his dad Ian, who is in the middle of giving the best man speech at Stacey and Martin Fowler’s wedding reception.
Amazing Bobby, who kept his involvement in his sister’s murder well-hidden for years, realises he has no choice but to tell the truth leaving the rest of the wedding guests both shocked and horrified.
Ian – played by Adam Woodyatt – rushes back to the house to find Jane lying in the exact same place where Lucy was found two years before.
As Jane, who is seriously injured, is rushed to hospital Bobby is forced to face the music for the first time as he’s arrested.
Ian also heads to the police with his but whether he will spill the beans about his son’s violent past is yet to be seen.
It's thought the violent argument between Bobby and Jane was sparked after he heared a less-than-discreet discussion between Jane and Sharon.
And his adoptive mum – played by Laurie Brett – played a big part in covering up his murder of Lucy.
When Lucy was first found dead Jane covered for him by moving her body to Walford Common and she convinced him that he was not responsible for her death.
Then, in February last year, during the live 30th anniversary flashback episode, it was revealed that Bobby had killed her after he smashed her head in with a music box in a fit of rage.
Max Branning, played by Jake Wood, was wrongly arrested, charged and imprisoned for her murder.
It wasn’t until December 2015 that the truth came out and Bobby found out what he had done after returning from boarding school.
After unwittingly killing his older sister, his temper grew and grew - with rage engulfing the schoolboy and transforming him in to a pint sized vessel of hate.
In August last year viewers saw him attack his older sibling Cindy, pushing her to the ground.
He turned nasty after she told him off for trying to put a brick through Max Branning's car window - as he believed it was him who killed Lucy.
Later he squared up to Walford hardman Phil Mitchell, threatening to smash him with a golf club.
Months later he threw his nan Kathy's TV down the stairs - and then pushed his stepmum down them, too.
But it seems Bobby will see his day in court as earlier this month, Bobby actor Elliot was seen outside a court alongside several of his co-stars as they filmed scenes for upcoming episodes.
His smart attire of a shirt and suit trousers suggests that his character was finally in the dock after the truth about Lucy’s killer finally emerges and he is set to face justice for his crime.
EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, May 23 at 8pm and Tuesday, May 24 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
