‘This one’s my favorite’: Britney Spears rolls back the years in three skimpy swimsuits
She told followers the racy green one was her favourite of those she'd just bought
BACK in the 90s Britney Spears was known for wearing skimpy outfits that revealed her toned abs.
Now, she's taken to Instagram to show that both her body and her wardrobe are summer ready.
As a result of her demanding Las Vegas residency, Britney is in the best shape of her life, something she was keen to show followers when she shared a swimsuit selfie on Tuesday.
Posting a photo of herself in a fluorescent green swimsuit, she revealed it was just one of three new items she had bought for the warmer weather.
The mum-of-two took a mirror selfie with her decorated pink phone that flaunted her dance-honed figure.
The racy swimsuit was cut high on the thigh, thin straps revealing her athletic waist.
The lime green onepiece also featured a large keyhole cut-out at the chest, which the Slave 4 U singer emphasised by pushing her arms closer to create an impressive cleavage.
Not content with just one photo, Britney took two and posted them side by side - one that focused on the swimsuit, and another in a more seductive pose that drew attention to her lean legs.
Wearing her signature blonde locks loose, she told her Instagram followers that she had been trying on a number of new swimwear options.
She wrote: "Bought three new swimsuits today. This one is my favorite!"
Evidently a fan of green bodysuits, this particular swimsuit bears resemblance to one of the popstar's iconic stage costumes.
On stage in Vegas - where she's had a residency since 2014 - she performs in a sparkling dark green onepiece that also features a plunging neckline and cut out sides.
Being granted a 50-show-a-year Piece Of Me residency at Planet Hollywood is just one of the Baby One More Time hitmaker's recent achievements.
Later this month she'll be honoured with the Millennium Award for her contribution to the music industry at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, an accolade previously given to Beyonce and Whitney Houston.
Meanwhile she's also kept extremely busy in Calabasas, California, where she lives with her two sons - Sean Preston, 10, and Jayden James, nine.
As well as sharing swimwear selfies, she's also been sharing her family life, last month posting a video of her and her boys sobbing in bed after their dog ate her cheese.
In the short clip, she wailed: "I'm so sad. You ate all the cheese."
Her son Preston then explained: "Hannah took my cheese," pointing at their family dog who was also perched on the bed.
The 34-year-old continued to sob: "The dog ate my cheese? It's not fair."
Some fans initially worried that this might be the beginning of another infamous break down, but it seemed the superstar was only having a laugh with her kids with the over-the-top video as she captioned it: "When your damn dog eats all the cheese."
This latest selfie comes as the singer has been amping up her social media presence in preparation for the release of her ninth album, scheduled to be released later in the summer.
