‘The Towie girls are far worse’: Charlotte Crosby defends Geordie Shore cast over ‘obsessions with surgery’

CHARLOTTE Crosby has hit back at claims the Geordie Shore girls have had too much plastic surgery, insisting The Only Way is Essex women are worse.

The 25-year-old recently spent £4,200 on a new nose, while co-star Holly Hagan has had a boob job, and both girls have been criticised by fans for going too far and ‘ruining themselves’ with their quest for perfection.

But in an exclusive chat with The Sun Online, Charlotte blasted the claims, saying: “There’s only one of us who has had a boob job, like the TOWIE’s have all got breast implants so I don’t know how true that is.
“The only person who has had a boob job is Holly, and I’ve had a nose job and that is it.”

Although Holly, 23, is the only current Geordie Shore star to have had her breasts enlarged, former cast mate Vicky Pattison, 28, has also gone under the knife, while on The Only Way is Essex, Danielle Armstrong is the only cast mate on screen to have had a breast augmentation.

However, former stars Lauren Goodger, Amy Childs, Maria Fowler and Lauren Pope have all had their chests surgically enhanced.

Middlesbrough born Holly, 23, recently revealed she would like to have a nose job like Charlotte, and while the star is flattered by her comments, she doesn’t think her friend should rush straight in to the surgery.

She said: “I think that’s lovely but I know the problem which Holly has with her nose.
“She’s got a tiny little bump that goes outwards on it, not upwards but like outwards which I have given her advice on.
“She could probably just get a little bit of filler in there to even it all out instead of going straight for the nose job to see how she found it, but I don’t know what she wants to do.

“But obviously I’ve given her loads of advice and I’ll support her. I know the problem that she sees so I’m not going to be like, ‘No I don’t think you should get one’ because I do see the problem that she is unhappy with, and it is noticeable and I got mine done.”

Despite shelling out for a new nose, Charlotte recently revealed she would never have a boob job, preferring to have small breasts rather than fake ones.
She added: “I think we’re all looking amazing, we’re all very beautiful girls we’ve all stepped it up a notch, we all take more pride in our appearance now and I think that’s all there is to it.”

While Charlotte thinks her co-stars are all looking their best, she has no plans to repeat the steamy girl-on-girl action she shared with Chloe Ferry, 21, in a recent episode of the hit MTV show.

She is, however, willing to share the clothes from her latest In The Style collection with the girls.
She said: “Chloe’s always wearing them and Marnie’s always lending the odd piece.

“Chantelle and Holly have got very different body types so don’t tend to wear the same style of clothes.
“She does order the playsuits that we do but that tends to be it.”
Charlotte’s busy schedule promoting the range has been a welcome distraction from the drama surrounding her on-off relationship with Geordie Shore co-star Gaz Beadle, 28.

The star was left devastated after The Sun Online exclusively revealed that he hooked up with Jemma Lucy while filming the new series of Ex on the Beach, before enjoying three-in-a-bad action with co-stars Charlotte Dawson and Olivia Walsh.

Speaking before our stories broke, Charlotte hinted she was hopeful of reconnecting with Gaz.
She said: “We’re good friends and we’re talking at the minute. Our schedules are really too busy to even see each other so there’s nothing really moving forward.”
