Mama June’s daughter Alana bursts into tears after stepmom vows to take custody of her away from sister Pumpkin 

MAMA June’s daughter Alana Thompson broke down in tears after her stepmom vowed to take custody away from her sister Pumpkin.

Honey Boo Boo, 14, has been living with her older sister Pumpkin, whose real name is Lauryn, brother-in-law Josh Efird and niece Ella ever since ditched her family to go on a with her troubled boyfriend Geno Doak.

In a sneak peek of tonight’s season finale, Alana burst into tears as her stepmom, Jennifer Lamb, , 20.

Jennifer told the family: “First of all honey, let me tell you something, I’m nothing like your Mama, I’m not a crackhead.

“Second of all, let me all you something, I’m a mama none of ya’ll will ever be.”

Pumpkin fired back: “I have custody of her now.

Jennifer then said: “No, back it up. You have temporary custody of Alana, not full.”

Pumpkin said: “It will be full custody. We all know the real reason you want Alana is to be Honey Boo Boo’s stepmom.”

Alana then yelled: “Ya’ll always making decisions on my life and I can never make them for myself. And if I want to live with Pumpkin…”

Alana then began to hysterical cry, as her 2-year-old niece gave her a hug.

Honey Boo Boo has broken down several times throughout the season, as she has missed her mother, and has had to deal with Pumpkin and Jennifer fighting over custody.

, as they entered a 30-day program.

Family therapist Dr. Ish Major told The Sun they checked into rehab when they “hit their rock bottom.”

He told The Sun: “She’s thinking, ‘I’m running out of money, I’m selling my things, I have legal trouble, maybe it is time to get help.’ Finally she got to the part where she was ready to take action.

“They went in very discreetly, very quietly, once they hit their rock bottom they went to a treatment center in That’s a win, I’ll take it!”

Dr. Ish previously told The Sun that , Anna, 25, Jessica, 23, Pumpkin, and Alana, from Florida, where she currently lives with Geno.

He said: “Family gets burnt out. ‘We tried and you never got it right. We poured resources into you, time, attention and affection into you, and none of that worked.’ Family is like, ‘Listen we’re done. We’re aggravated.’ It’s a very tricky way to reintroduce yourself to the family.”

He continued: “We love you, but we’re going to love you from over here. The last thing I did with Pumpkin was help her realize the boundaries. If you cannot behave in an appropriate fashion, if you cannot make decisions better for yourself and us, then you don’t get to be part of our lives.

“The only way we’re going to tell that is time. This is June earning her spot back into the family.”

Dr. Ish revealed the family has scheduled Skype calls and other planned forms of communication to see if June follows through.

He added: “They are rebuilding trust. This is what you said you are going to do, let’s see if you can do it. History says you won’t. If you do then we can take that next step. This is how you work your way back into the family and we can trust each other again.”

Earlier on in the season, June agreed to go to rehab after she and Geno were arrested for possession of a controlled substance – crack cocaine – and possession of drug paraphernalia – a crack pipe – in March 2019.

But she didn’t go and instead  for fast cash.

In another preview for Friday’s season finale, a voiceover asked: “Is she headed for rehab or just headed for disaster?”

She then said: “Nobody knows what the real story is. Peace out, b*****s!”

The season finale of Mama June: From Not to Hot: Family Crisis airs Friday at 9/8c on WE tv.
