Pregnant Kate Ferdinand says she’s ‘being very careful’ during workouts in first interview since baby announcement
KATE Ferdinand has said she's had to dial down her famously gruelling workouts in her first interview since announcing she is pregnant.
The 29-year-old star revealed earlier this month that she and husband Rio were expecting their first baby with a heartwarming video where they told their children the happy news.
Speaking to the about how she has amended her exercise regime, she said: "I think you have to be really careful and take advice from professionals.
"I definitely don't think it can stay the same, it has definitely changed. I'm working out at a lot slower pace and taking it easy, listening to my body really."
Kate said she is a "bit more tired at times" but insisted she was determined to remain active to protect her mental wellbeing.
The pair have a full-equipped, high-tech gym in their luxurious mansion, and they regularly share their workouts with fans on Instagram.

Kate secretly filmed the moment she and Rio told Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, and nine-year-old Tia – his children with late wife Rebecca - they were getting a new brother or sister.
The kids screamed and jumped up and down with excitement as they were told the baby news.
After reading out a message revealing Kate is expecting a baby, she told the kids: "I'm pregnant" before revealing her bump and asking: "Have you not noticed, guys?"
Kate and Rio married in September 2019 in a lavish ceremony in Turkey - saying 'I do' surrounded by almost 200 friends and family, including the three children.
