Teen Mom Jenelle Evans abandons JE Cosmetics trademark after claiming her makeup company is ‘back in business’

FORMER Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has abandoned her JE Cosmetics trademark after claiming her makeup company is “back in business” amid her tax debt.

The Sun can exclusively reveal the JE Cosmetics trademark was abandoned and listed as “dead” on June 19 after the United States Patent and Trademark Office did not receive a response from Jenelle within six months of the issue date.

The inactive trademark comes after Jenelle, 28, posted a photo to her JE Cosmetics Instagram account in May sitting on boxes of eyebrow kits.

She captioned the photo: “FINALLY our shipment has arrived! After months of emails back and forth we are back in business!

Jenelle’s public relations representative at the time, Johnny Donovan, previously .

He said: “She bought so many units. She purchased 2,000 eyebrow kits. It’s the same kits.

“They were left at a warehouse. She’s trying to get rid of them since she was stuck with a lot.”

Jenelle confirmed to The Sun that the kits were sent to her home “not too long ago.”

She told The Sun at the time: “I am selling them out of my home. I have a huge 40’ x 40’ building I am storing them in.

“I am really happy I can tell my customers that I am personally delivering them and including special ‘Thank You’ notes.”

Her comment ended: “Since posting on social media I have received many orders and it has been keeping me very busy. I will continue to sell my products and no one is going to stop me!”

The boxes also have a production date of 2019 in the photo, as fans speculated over social media that the kits were the same ones from the initial launch.

But Jenelle may want to get her business affairs in order, as The Sun exclusively reported she and her husband , 31, were for the 2017 year on June 1, 2020.

Jenelle was fired from in May 2019 after David admitted to shooting and killing the family dog for nipping at their daughter Ensley, 3.

The shooting led to Jenelle being dropped from Instagram sponsorships following to her MTV termination.

In addition to financial trouble, Jenelle’s on-again husband David has legal issues.

David was against Jenelle’s friend James Spivey when they went to their home to obtain her belongings following a week of arguing.

The  claimed David “did assault” James “with a deadly weapon, a Springfield handgun, by hitting James Spivey in the back of the neck and on his back with the handgun.”

David allegedly threatened to “blow” James’ “f**king brains out,” according to the warrant.

Jenelle vowed to leave David, but later returned to their North Carolina home

James  returned to their North Carolina home after the arrest and did not file a restraining order against David despite vowing to do so.

He said: “She’s claiming she’s with relatives, but it’s the opposite. She’s staying at the property. They’re back together.

“She made it very clear she doesn’t want to be alone. She doesn’t want to live on the property alone.”

Columbus County Emergency Services confirmed to The Sun that the Columbus County District Attorney’s Office

The District Attorney’s Office confirmed they are prosecuting David on the assault with a deadly weapon and communicating threats charges.
