Supermarket Sweep moved to ITV after successful reboot with Rylan Clark-Neal
RYLAN Clark-Neal’s bid to be on every channel at any given time has been given an almighty boost.
I am told that as well as stints on the BBC and Channel 4, he has now got ITV in his locker too.
His reboot of cult favourite Supermarket Sweep is being moved from ITV2 to the main channel after the success of its comeback series.
Rylan filled the giant shoes of late telly great Dale Winton when it returned to critical acclaim last year – except for a select few who would grumble about their own nan for a few retweets.
A source said: “ITV were delighted with Rylan and the show on ITV2, so it’s going back to where it belongs on the main channel.
“It rated well and it is just what they want to lift the nation’s spirits in these odd times.
“They hope the nostalgia trip, with Rylan at the helm again, will put a smile on the country’s face.”
Rylan is certainly a busy boy.

As well as Sweep, as he affectionately calls it, he has BBC shows Ready Steady Cook, You Are What You Wear and Strictly’s It Takes Two.
And at the moment he is also popping up on E4 with a look at old Big Brother episodes as part of the Best Shows Ever series.
He certainly is partial to a trip down memory lane.
