Big Brother’s Nikki Grahame says it was ‘never meant to be’ with her and Pete Bennett as romance airs on Best Bits show

BIG Brother's Nikki Grahame has admitted it was "never meant to be" with her and Pete Bennett after they got together on the show.

The 38-year-old star fell in love with the Tourette's sufferer when they starred in the sixth series and said though it didn't work out between them, she has no regrets about their romance.

She revealed:  "I hated it when I realised I was falling in love with Pete Bennett ...

"It was never meant to be. But I loved him at the time. Truly, it was special."

The former couple have remained friends but are rarely in touch these days, with Nikki adding to Heat magazine: "He’s so impossible to get in touch with!

"We’re in touch via Instagram. He’s such a nomad.";

Nikki quickly reached reality TV legend status thanks to her big heart and even bigger tantrums, even coining her own catchphrase, "who IS she?"

At one point she was furious about being nominated by Susie Verrico, and flew in to a Diary Room rage, crying: "Who is she?! Who is she?! Where did you find her?!", which has now become a popular meme.

Despite being evicted fairly early on, Nikki was put back in thanks to a secret house - with two other contestants - and eventually regained her housemate status.

This meant she was evicted twice, and was met with major boos when she left the house for the second time, coming fifth.

She says: "Oh my god I’ll never live that down will I? People say (who is she) to me all the time. And people also shout, ‘I’m so cold!

"(The show) feels like another lifetime! But it was just the best experience ever. I wouldn’t change it for the world."

Since then, she has uncharacteristically stayed out of the limelight.

In 2019, Nikki revealed she was seeking IVF treatment, as her years of anorexia had caused her to become infertile. Speaking to new! magazine, Nikki said: "I've enquired at a few clinics in London. Ideally, I'd meet the right guy and we could go through the process together."
