Scott Thomas reveals incredible body transformation after giving up alcohol when party life ‘almost lost him everything’
SCOTT Thomas has revealed his incredible body transformation after giving up alcohol when his party lifestyle “almost lost him everything”.
The 31-year-old opened up about being six months sober after deciding to go T total throughout 2020.
He admitted having a difficult relationship with alcohol, but was forced to take action when it started to affect his business.
Six months on, Scott looks fighting fit and feeling better than ever.
“Special moment for me today! Celebrating 6 months no alcohol and finally reaching my goal of the best shape of my life,” Scott wrote on Instagram.
“Before I go on I just want to say massive thank you to my PT @antonyteasdale4 for getting me to this point.
“This may come as a surprise to a lot of you as it’s not something I’ve often talked about. For years I’ve always battled with my relationship to alcohol.
“I made a living out of being a party boy and although I didn’t drink often when I did I would always take it too far and become a different person.
“I’ve battled with this for years and although I’ve not had a bad life at all and always done “well” so to speak there was always an underlying feeling of not reaching my potential.”
Scott said he went to see a therapist, who he still sees once a month after he helped him get some perspective.
He continued: “At the back end of last year I made a decision to go T total in 2020 for 12 months. A decision that had to be made because for the first time my behaviour had affected my business.
“To see something that I’ve worked hard for jeopardised because of my behaviour was a massive eye opener for me. This was a personal weakness I knew I had to get on top of to reach the level of success that I wanted so badly.”
After booking a solo holiday to Abu Dhabi, Scott said he had a “serious word with himself ” and vowed to give up drinking for a year.
Scott added: “6 months down the line and I’m in a much better place. Everyday I wake up feeling unstoppable and I’m moving towards my goals. Making things happen in my personal life and business that I’ve always never found the time to do.
“I’m not sitting here preaching to people about not drinking because I was different it was a weakness of mine.
“But what I am saying is if you do have a problem in your life that’s holding you back only YOU can get on top of it and yes it won’t be easy. But trust me when you do you will reap all the rewards.”
Scott has just starred in ITV documentary with his famous brothers Ryan and Adam Thomas as they bonded with their dad in India.
