Katie Price getting adorable new puppy four months after Alsatian Sparkle’s tragic death
KATIE Price is planning on getting an adorable new puppy four months after her Alsatian Sparkle's tragic death.
She's looking into getting a French bulldog after Sparkle was killed running onto a busy road.
The 41-year-old reality star was devastated by the heartbreaking accident on the A24 close to Katie's home.
She now wants a fresh start with a new pup - and is hoping to buy one soon to live alongside her other dog Blade.
A source told The Sun Online: "She hasn't thought up a name yet, but she's head over heels in love with all the puppies she's met.
"She's thinking very seriously about buying one for Princess for her birthday!"
Katie's pal Dreamboy Al Warrell - who she's staying with - showed off Katie looking at new puppies on social media today.
Katie's spokesman told us: "I can confirm that Katie is considering getting a puppy but hasn't bought one just yet.
"Katie is still deeply upset over the loss of her beloved Sparkle, who was sadly run over earlier this year.
"Katie’s dog blade is her best friend."
Blade is a protection dog that Katie got following a series of kidnap threats.
The mum-of-five had first-hand experience of violence after being held at gunpoint in South Africa amid a carjacking.
Katie and two of her children – Princess and Junior – were targeted while filming her reality TV show when they pulled over to the side of the road to go to the toilet.
She later spent time in a Priory rehab clinic, where she was diagnosed with PTSD.
Recently Katie urged robbed footballer Dele Alli to get a protection dog as she got Blade extra training.
Spurs star Dele was battered by knife-wielding thieves who burst in as the ace played pool with his girlfriend and brother at his £2million home.
They got away with watches and jewellery worth thousands of pounds.
Now mum-of-five Katie has offered Dele advice to avoid further danger - by buying a protection dog like her.
She said: "Just picked up my boy from @protectiondogworldwide. After a few weeks of refreshing him as a protection guard dog.
"@dele you need to get a dog from here, they will ensure your safety."
