Danny Dyer’s family heartache as his grandma is rushed to hospital with pneumonia
DANNY Dyer's family have revealed their heartache after his grandma was rushed to hospital with pneumonia.
The matriarch of the Dyer family doesn't have coronavirus but isn't allowed any visitors due to the current pandemic.
Danny's mum Chris Dyer shared the heartbreaking news about her mum on Twitter on today.
She wrote: "My little mum is in hospital with pneumonia. Not Covid thank f***
"I'm taking up parcels and phoning her, but not being able to visit her is f****** devastating."
Her granddaughter, former Love Island winner Dani Dyer, 24, responded by saying: "Hope she's OK."
To which Chris replied: "So do I! Love you xxx
"I know she is in the best place to get better."
The Dyers are known to be a close family, which has seen Dani break lockdown to visit her famous dad and her mum Jo.
The reality star has been criticised over the last few months for breaking the government's rules.
In early April she posted snaps from her parents home, openly ignoring the ban on visiting relatives.
And yet just hours later, she posted an Instagram message telling fans to “stay indoors”.
She added: “Please listen, it’s so important.” A video posted by the reality TV star on 26 March — three days after Boris Johnson announced the lockdown — showed her dancing with Jo.
A second video from March 29 showed Dani enjoying a roast dinner at her parents’ home — a short drive from her own.
She also added snaps from her mum and dad’s kitchen on April 3.
