EastEnders fans horrified as Phil Mitchell calls baby Kaden ‘that thing’ before slinging sobbing Sharon into the street

EASTENDERS fans were left horrified tonight when Phil Mitchell referred to little Kayden as "that thing" before slinging both Sharon and the baby out onto the street.

The ageing gangster flew into a rage after he forced his wife to choose between her child and a life of luxury at the Queen Vic - and it didn't go the way he wanted.

Desperate Sharon had hoped that Phil and the tot - her lovechild with Keanu Taylor - might bond after she left him holding the baby, but it didn't work out at all.

When she returned, Phil told her if she was serious about living in the Vic she'd have to dump Kayden, saying: "If that's what you want, we can do that - but not him. Just you and me. Take him back to Karen."

She protested: "I'm his mum!"

But Phil raged: "Sharon, I've tried, but every time I look at him, he's a Taylor. I can't have him anywhere near me."

Sharon pleaded: "Phil, please don't make me choose. I can't lose another son - please?"

He then told her: "Sharon, you've got to make a choice."

She replied defiantly: "There is no choice. I will never give up my baby again."

Phil hit back: "Then get out of my house. And take that thing with you."

Sharon then burst into tears, picking up her baby and making for the door.

EastEnders viewers were stunned, with one writing: "Phil you horrible man!"

It isn't even the first time Sharon has been chucked out of Phil's in the past six months, with him performing a similar act of monstrosity on Christmas Day.

After finding out about her affair with Keanu, he turfed her out calling her a "lying two-faced slapper".
