James Bond will become a dad in upcoming film No Time to Die
JAMES Bond will become a dad in upcoming film No Time To Die.
The spy is best known for his womanising ways but in the latest film in the saga, it's believed he will have a five-year-old daughter.
The film - which has been delayed until November because cinemas are closed - will show Bond (Daniel Craig) as a dad with his love interest Dr Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux).
Rumours emerged last week when call sheets went up for sale on eBay.
These daily schedules showed a scene shot in southern Italy last September with Dr Swann alongside Nomi (Lashana Lynch) and a child called Mathilde - played by five-year-old Lisa-Dorah Sonne.
The scene is described as "Nomi pilots Madeleine and Mathilde to safety with the island in the background".
"Daniel is older and his Bond is maturing and looking at life through the prism of fatherhood. But there's a lot more to it than that."
The scenes are said to have been worked in by Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who was brought in to shake up the script when original director Danny Boyle was replaced by Cary Joji Fukunaga.
No Time To Die is set five years after previous film Spectre, which itself ends with Bond running off with Dr Swann in an Aston Martin DB5.
The upcoming movie - Daniel Craig's last one - begins with Bond having retired with Dr Swann.
This is also the most expensive Bond film to be created, coming in at £200million.
The huge bill is revealed in accounts released by its production firm, B25 in May.
It means the film, 25th in the series, is far costlier than the two previous Bonds — 2015’s Spectre (£182million) and 2012’s Skyfall (£138million).
