Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan and Spanish actress born on July 31, 1989, in Fes, Morocco.
Sofia later moved with her family to the United States where she set out to pursue a career in journalism.
However, she switched up her career to acting and modeling after she was scouted.
She has consistently worked over the last decade, having roles in The Brave, Jane the Virgin, and NCIS.
Sofia played Marisa Sierras in The Young And The Restless from 2015 to 2016, and in 2019, Sofia became a series regular on the TV series, Blood & Treasure.

Pernas and Hartley were co-stars on The Young and the Restless.
Hartley appeared on the popular soap opera as Adam Newman from 2014 to 2016, and Pernas joined the show in 2015, playing his girlfriend.
Chrishell Stause also starred on the popular soap in 2016, and Pernas and Stause were close friends for years, The Sun has learned.

The pair was seen wearing what appeared to be wedding bands on the MTV Awards red carpet in May 2021.
Hartley was wearing a standard gold band. Meanwhile, Pernas rocked a diamond band on her left finger.
In May 2021, reports stated that the couple got married.
A source later confirmed to that the TV star and his former The Young and the Restless costar ";recently" tied the knot.
Since meeting on the famed soap opera, the two have appeared in a few of the same shows including Jane the Virgin and Quantum Leap.
In March 2024, it was revealed the two were teaming up again to appear on the CBS TV series Tracker.

Why did Justin Hartley file for divorce from Chrishell Stause?
Justin cited irreconcilable differences in the November 2019 filing.
Chrishell broke down in tears in a trailer for Selling Sunset, her real estate reality show, when discussing the split.
She told her friend, Mary Fitzgerald: “I’m just kind of in shock with it all.
“It’s just a lot all at once because everybody in the whole world knows.
“I love him so much. This was my best friend.
"Who do I talk to now?”
The former couple's divorce was finalized the following year.

Does Justin Hartley have children?
Hartley has a 16-year-old daughter with his first wife, Lindsay Korman, named Isabella.
He had previously been married to Korman, an actress and singer, from 2004 to 2012.
Isabella is an only child.
In a interview, months after the two tied the knot, Sofia and Justin said they weren't in any rush to have kids.
"We just got married. We’re enjoying being together and being able to go on vacation," Sofia revealed.
"It‘s hilarious. Technically our first date was a year after we were together because that was when the world opened up."
They went on to say it's "too early to tell."
