Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom celebrate wedding anniversary after stormy seven year relationship
HEAVYWEIGHT boxer Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom are celebrating being married for seven years.
The couple got hitched in 2013 with a glamorous 1,000-guest ceremony at New York’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
Faryal, 28, who gave birth to a new baby boy with Amir, 33, in February, posted two photos of the couple to her social media account, writing: “Happy anniversary baby! 🌹 #7years feels like 100 😁”
In one of the snaps Faryal and a topless Amir are seen cradling their new son Muhammed Zaviyer Khan.
Amir is sporting some frosted tip highlights in his hair, which one fan didn’t seem to like.
They wrote: “Sorry but those highlights or Ameer look like a seagul crapped on him ! They could be a lot better ! 😑 but Mashallah lovely family !!”
Faryal jokingly replied to the wise cracker: “thanks for that I’ll let him know 😩 😩🙏��”
The couple, who have three children together, have had a tempestuous relationship over the years.
Back in 2017, explosive tweets from Amir's Twitter account claimed he had split from his wife… and accused her of cheating on him with Anthony Joshua.
However, Faryal later claimed that both of their accounts had been hacked – only for Amir to confirm their break-up in a Snapchat video, prompting a "disgusted" response from his wife.

The initial tweet on the boxer’s account read: “So me and the wife Faryal have agreed to split. I’m currently in Dubai. Wish her all the best.”
The couple's relationship had previously been rocked by numerous allegations that Amir had cheated.
In May 2018, beautician Sophia Hammani claimed that she spent the night with the boxer, just 17 days after their daughter Alayna was born.
Amir slammed the claims on Twitter branding them "nonsense" but his wife unfollowed him on Instagram.
However, despite all this the couple appear to have put all the cheating claims behind them as they welcomed little Muhammed on February 22, 2020, as younger brother to their daughters Lamaisah born in 2014, Alayna in 2018.
