FOR 60,000 couples across the UK, lockdown has meant that they have had to cancel their wedding plans.

But for one lucky pair, that dream is still happening on Channel 4’s Hitched at Home.

What is Hitched at Home on Channel 4?

As lockdown keeps loved ones apart, Channel 4’s very own cupid Fred Sirieix will be giving one of those couples a surprise chance to get hitched in an audacious virtual celebration with their whole wedding party watching on.

This one off documentary will see Patrick and Louise, a thirty-something couple from London, get the wedding they never thought could happen in 2020.

With only two weeks to pull it off, the film will follow Fred as he works around the clock to make their day as perfect as possible.

And by delving into his black book of contacts in the worlds of celebrity and hospitality, his mission is to lay on a day that the couple and their guests will never forget.

When is Hitched at Home on Channel 4?

Brush off your best suit or party dress and join Channel for an evening to celebrate Louise and Patrick’s wedding.

The nuptials are being held on June 1, 2020.

You can catch the action from 9pm on Channel 4.

If you miss the wedding, you will be able to watch it again on 4 Catch Up.

What has Fred Sirieix said about Hitched at Home?

Speaking about Patrick and Louise, Fred told : “They had everything originally in place, but it all got taken away from them.

“So, I’m working with some of my most trusted colleagues to throw the biggest bash we can in these circumstances.

“I’m working my finger to the bone to organise plenty of surprises for Louise and Patrick and we’re going to make it a day they’ll never forget. I promise you, you will not want to miss it.”
