Love Island’s Nathan Massey shows off his weight loss and says quarantine has been his ‘training camp’
NATHAN Massey has revealed his impressive weight loss in lockdown.
The former Love Island star displayed his muscular physique in a before and after snap, telling fans that quarantine has been his "training camp".
Nathan shared a throwback of himself leaning against the tree, alongside a more recent snap of his trimmer frame.
He captioned it: "Quarantine has been my training camp !!!!! 🏃🏼♂️ 💪🏻 #goandgetit."
His showbiz mates flocked to the comments to congratulate him.
Rykard Jenkins, who appeared on Nathan's season of Love Island in 2016, wrote: "Well done mate."
Towie star Sam Mucklow added a string of high five emojis.
Nathan - who has a son Freddy with wife Cara De La Hoyde - has struggled with his weight over the years.
He shed the pounds in 2017 for a charity boxing match before putting some of it back on.
After being mocked by cruel trolls for his "dad bod", he dropped a stone back in 2018.
Although Nathan ignored the vile comments, pals told The Sun Online it did spur him into action ahead of his wedding to Cara.
A source said: “Nathan has had a hard time of it online with the trolling and felt like he needed to do something about it."
He went on: “Usually he doesn’t let things get to him but he was feeling more and more self-conscious - so sprang into action.”
The cruel comments started after he appeared on Lorraine back in July 2018.
Nathan’s pal added: “Seeing himself looking so overweight on TV was the last straw. He felt grotesque.
“He’d got too comfortable and really let things slide. Now he’s been eating clean and hitting the gym hard.”
