DENISE Van Outen threw the most epic birthday party for her stepdaughter's 21st birthday.

The 45-year-old certainly made sure that boyfriend Eddie Boxman's daughter - Leah - will never forget her special day in lockdown as she treated her to an array of gifts, lavish decorations and a designer cake.

The Towie narrator shared a glimpse of Leah's special day with a selection of snaps that she posted on Instagram.

She captioned the post: "@leah.boxshall 21st birthday celebration 🥂 in lockdown, just the 3 of us.

Although the youngster wasn't able to go out to the clubs with her pals, Denise made sure that she got the ultimate clubbing experience in the comfort of their Essex home.

She turned their pristine white kitchen into party haven, with the tunes blaring at full volume while Eddie showed off his amazing skills on the deck.

The whole family dressed up to the nines for her special day and got to enjoy each others company while they indulged in endless glasses of bubbly and birthday cake.

Denise and Eddie Boxshall, 47, started dating back in July 2014 after they were introduced by a mutual friend.

The commodities trader is Denise's first boyfriend since her 2013 split from husband Lee Mead - who is the father of her daughter Betsy, 10.

After five years together, the pair finally moved in together in January 2019.

Last month the telly favourite joined an army of amateur stitchers to make thousands of scrubs for the NHS heroes.

Some 100 “Scrub Hubs” have sprung up in the UK with volunteers making thousands of washable outfits for hospital staff.

She said: “I thought, ‘I’ve got time, I’d love to help’. So I’m one of the voluntary cutters.”

Her scrubs, from printed patterns, are used in her local hospitals at Basildon and Southend, Essex.

The Loose Women panellist told ITV’s Lorraine : “It’s amazing, you do realise the state of emergency we’re in.

“It has its challenges being on lockdown but it has its rewards as well because you get to spend quality time with your family.

“It’s not too bad, Betsy’s school is lovely and her teacher has been doing an online session everyday and she’s amazing.

“I try to listen in and I just don’t know how they do it. I think as a parent you really get to know your child and how they learn. And I’m learning too. I’ve also realised I have zero patience.”
