Holly Willoughby says she can’t wait to hug her mum again as she celebrates her 72nd birthday
HOLLY Willoughby says she cannot wait to hug her mum again as she celebrates her 72nd birthday.
Due to the coronavirus lockdown, the This Morning presenter has been unable to spend time with her mother due to isolation and social distancing measures.
Instead, the 39-year-old resorted to social media and paid tribute to her mum Linda, by sharing a throwback selfie.
The gorgeous pair beamed toward the camera as they stood side by side in an outside bar.
Alongside the adorable picture, Holly included a heartfelt caption that read: "Happy birthday to my beautiful mumma... miss you so so much...Can't wait to cuddle you again... love you."
Another of the television presenter's loved ones also celebrated a birthday and Holly wished her sister Kelly a happy birthday on Instagram earlier this month.
Holly shared a boomerang-style clip of a selfie with her sister, where they appeared to be a recent day out.
The mother-of-three wrote: "Happy Birthday to my beautiful sister @ladywilloughby LOVE you to pieces... can’t wait to give you a huge squeeze when we can... have the best day... see you on Zoom!"
The star said she sympathised with a This Morning viewer recently, who was upset by her parents not being able to see their grandson.
Holly said: "I feel your pain, I've got my little niece who I have not met at all, I keep looking at her in photos and she's getting bigger and I'm thinking I am never going to get that time back and you miss them so much."

Earlier in the week Holly revealed her biggest hair disaster while showing fans how to dye their own hair at home.
She revealed she accidentally dyed her hair red after experimenting with spray-in bleach.
"I went red by accident when I was much much younger and you want to experiment with your hair," she told Vogue's beauty and lifestyle director Jessica Diner during a video call.
"I'd gone blonde by using one of those beach spray blondes...so I came back home and was like 'Oh I'd better just put this dark hair dye over the top.'
"And obviously, I'm not a colourist but that was a disaster. It didn't go brown it went red, and not a nice red, and I had to stay like that until the colour grew out."
