Orlando Bloom selling Beverly Hills bachelor pad for $8.9 million as he and pregnant fiancee Katy Perry prep for baby
ORLANDO Bloom has placed his $8.9 million Beverly Hills bachelor pad on the market - weeks after finishing a $500,000 pool renovation.
The actor is expecting his second child, his first with fiancee , and so has decided to put the four-bedroom home up for sale.
It was purchased in 2017 for $7million and in the years since, has opened up the kitchen for a more open-plan space, added a bar area and refinished features including the interior wood.
Realtor Jason Oppenheim of the Oppenheim group told Mansion Global: "He really knows what he’s doing.
“He has honestly exquisite taste, everything from the finishes, to the design and lighting, I really respect his style.”
In 2019 Orlando began work on a zero-edge pool which reportedly cost over $500,000 and was finished just a few weeks prior to the home going up for sale.
The decision to sell the pad comes after pop star Katy also sold two homes from her property portfolio for a rumored total of nearly $13 million.
Orlando and Katy they purchased for $16million back in 2017.
The pad, which sits on 5,426 sq feet of land in a gated community, boasts a whopping five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The mansion also has a driveway, swimming pool and a terrace for the growing family to sit out and relax in the Californian sunshine.
Orlando, 43, and Katy aren't the only A-listers in the area and some of their neighbous include Adele, Nicole Kidman, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, Cameron Diaz and Nicole Richie.
Katy recently revealed that Adele "just knocks on her door and comes in" whenever she's in Los Angeles.

Speaking to Fleur East on she explained that last time she welcomed into her home she was just in her robe.
She said: "She's my next-door neighbor so not only is she on the scene, but she's like, around the corner.
"We live very close to each other, we're friendly, we've known each other for a long time."
